Well Mikey, by virtue of being not only the perfect entrant, in that you're an enthusiast with an eye for photography (and a stash of existing lenses) and also the fact that you were essentially the only entrant I'm declaring you the winner!

If you'll PM me your mailing address, I'll get that badboy boxed up and heading your way on Monday!

And Lachance, if you want to send me a mailing address as well, I'm sure I can dig up a fine consolation prize for you, too.

While I admit I thought there'd be a little more interest in this camera, I'm glad it's going to someone who will appreciate and use it- and as I said, that, to me, was more important than trying to get the best return on it.

Thank you all for at least reading, and Happy Xmas, Christmas, Walzmas and Doxmas!

Doc.

So cool, thanks Doc! I'm sure this is the nicest thing I've ever won. I'm really looking forward to it, whenever I'm out taking photos, I'm constantly swapping lenses. It's going to be great to have a second camera body to work with. I've been thinking about it for a while but I never would have ended up with one this nice.

On it's way! I hope it brings you as much fun and enjoyment as it did for me.

It's here! The outer box took a beating and got a little wet, but the packing was excellent and the inside was fine.

This camera is so cool. I forgot some of the features, like how it has a second set of controls built in so you can shoot vertically.

I'll be posting photos soon.

What a great start to the season!

Glad it arrived safely! Read the manual- trust me on this. That camera can do a LOT of things most box-store and even pro-sumer grade stuff can't.

(That cat's name is Rusty, by the way. )

I did that with the first kit lens my parent got ...
Put it on my eos with ilford B&W ... Between the lens and my crappy enlarger (I was in high school and found it at a landfill) the image was so bad ... Went back to my pen F
Now I think about it, I need to pull it out with my 35T ... And a few others ...
