Help? OK, What have I done? I have for all intents and purposes...a KP2. (its shorter than a normal KP2 but all the parts are the same...) I pulled the cart valve out to replace the seals. I put everything back in from the front (cant get the trigger group off. The pin holding it in is very tight and I don't have any means to safely remove it.) Mainspring, hammer, valve. Now I try to pump it and it will only move a bit backwards (with a lot of force) and then on the trigger pull it the hammer only comes a tad bit forwards and does not hit the valve... Its like the hammer is jammed. On what I don't know. I have moved the bolt lug out of the way...the sear hooks clear the hammer...there is nothing left! help? |
I think i got it now |
Ah ****STOCKINGS!!! Now the dam thing is venting 12gs again... Strait down the barrel and the bottom. Man this gun is beginning to piss me off. |
Cart valve in backwards? |
The best option is to remove the trigger group (I know this is not what you want to hear.) Use a small nail as a punch to drive the pin out. The reason is, I suspect the spring and spring guide are not going all the way into the trigger group, which would cause the hammer to hold the valve open. Ty |
Was this a conversion? My guess on your initial problem was that the spring wasn't actually going into the trigger group. For the leaking issue, does it stop when you pump it again or just vent all the way out? The only seals that can really cause a huge leak on those cart valves would be the 12g face seal and the "cup seal" on the valve. |

I am going to check the spring seating as suggested and the face seal again... Will report back. |
