What is this part called and where can I buy one

What is the part that I have circled in red called and where can I buy one. I looked on Bacci's site but couldn't find them in the Sheridan section.

The one I have has the threads broken off the bottom and is cross threaded on the top part.

I believe it's called a Nutsert but other than getting one from Bacci I think you'd have to mod one from something else or try MSC Direct

It is a coupling nut. You can pick one up at just about any decent hardware store. You may need to shorten it to fit.

Thanks, I'll have to stop at the good hardware store in town this weekend and see what I can find.

I had a feeling that it was a coupler with a threaded piece stuck in one end but wasn't sure.

It's a fast action screw set, according to Palmer's anyway.

another old name- pringle screw=1/4-20 threaded bolt- head ground thin and bent(hammered) into shape also works.

or

SHEC304, SHEC305, and SHEC306. you need all 3 of those part numbers. that includes the screw, washer, and nut.
