Direct feed TPX
A Tippmann Forum member from Germany did a great direct feed for the TPX and posted it to the Tippy forum.
Just flipping the breech and trenching a new slot for the crossing screw was genius! Extra awesomeness points for melting a new detent trench!
Certainly not my cup of tea but it does show off the dependability of the TPX to see him rip off a whole hopper on youtube!
Tippmann TPX with Vertical Feed
From where I sit the poor guy limited himself to shooting in one direction at a time, but to each his own!

Official LL5 Dolphin-Dive
Not a fan of it for the hopper, but it DOES open up possibilities for a top-loaded springfeed up there...
Edit- I bet you could figure out a way to mount and plumb a phantom-style CO2 changer in the grip too if you wanted with this configuration...

That's actually a nice and compact setup. A little interesting, but it works.

But can you make it a pump. That is the challange. A semi-auto with a stock class feed is useless unless it has enough room to hold a paintball above the breech so that it won't come out.

Ditch the bolt spring, and slot the body for the bolt cocking arm.
You will probably get it more efficient that way as well.
