Don't you miss your first pistol?

I do so I have sold My T9 and am currently trying to get it back

Its was my first marker and the picture above was taken the day I sold it. I had really bad sellers regret, all the good times and bad times we went through together. It is still the best marker overall that I have owned and after the feed port and flex-hone it was a beast to play with. It never failed to shoot, any paint I put through it old new high end or cheap it shot it all and never broke a single ball.
I can only blame the selling of it on madness.

So do you guys miss your first pistol?

i started playing paintball renting a pgp nearly 20 years go. do i miss it? HELL NO!!! it was SO nice moving to a tippmann sl-68 II...no more c02 cartridges or reloading after every 10 shots. then i got to use a pro-lite; mech semi-auto ever since. i'll still pull the pump out occasionally just to change things up though.

To be honest, no, not really. The T68 I had was a fine enough pistol, but it couldn't hold a candle to others I've tried since.
I think I miss my 8.1 more.

My first pistol? Absolutely not! Ariakon ACP 2.0 that would start to leak if it even saw dirt much less actually touched it.

I do miss a few that came after that, particularly the wrinkle black and polished nickel .45 frame Squall that I sold to SpinalMath.

i guess that's a good reason; pistols today are a lot easier to use than pistols 20 years ago.

Not necessarily. Modern pistols (in my experience) seem to have so much more than can go wrong with them, due to the larger number of working parts.
Take all the various o-rings and mechanisms in an 8.1, and compare them to the simpler (but more robust) workings of a PGP or 007, for example.
