JT ER2 project

little single shot first strike project...newer a5 barrel....will probably mod the feed neck for easier loading. Any suggestions for a detent? Tried some electrical tape...worked for a few shots then a slightly bigger round got stuck and blew a hole in the round. At least they don't "roll" out, as long as it's fairly level they stay in.

Nail polish wedgit is what we use in PGP's. Just make a little bump with the nail polish to hold the ball.

What bore is that barrel and how'd you get the barrel to stay in place?

I tried the nail polish...was either too little to hold or breaking fs(the batch I have vary in size quite a bit)....but they seem to stay in place unless I tilt it more than 45* so I'm OK with it

The barrel is a stock a5 so I believe it's .689 I just put electrical tape on 3 contact points until it was snug enough after it was screwed together. shoots decent with the first strikes, haven't tried past 50 feet though

What became of this project?
I am thinking about something similar, possibly with dam capability.
Did you notice an increase in velocity/efficiency with the longer barrel?
I am thinking of using a stock procarbine or pmi trracer barrel.
The nice thing about tippmann, I think their larger bore start to the barrels holds balls a bit, but they are better open bolt. Did you say you threaded the barrel in? I wonder what it would take to mod the barrel for the double detent the gun comes with. Did the does strikes drop in and then without too much messing around?

Barrel was just electrical tape around it in a few spots for the body to hold it in place

Never tested for efficiency so i dont know

I cut off the feed neck, opened it up for FS and glued on a rail and added the red dot

Really haven't shot it much...one day ill try it out at distance...
