I'd be interested if they were functioning. My dad's first guns were 3357s. I've long been trying to get one or two to give to him as a gift since paintball is something we've always shared. I lost him last February so I missed my chance, but I've continued looking anyways. It's still something I want to do for his memory.

Crosman did not make a 4 " barrel I've researched & researched went back and forth with Andy Acrewofone

search this post on MCB
" Crosman 3357 rifle/4 inch barrel?" nobody there believes Crosman offered a 4 "they would never produced it with a pin or peg sight they would not leave spotmarker uncentered in the barrel more to the front either they did not have a custom shop ever ... I debunked that thread anyway it is 3" barrel .50 cal done by Command Post

update 3/15/2018 Crosman did not make anything but a 6-inch barrel with a Western Grip Acrewofone's avatar profile pic is the way it came period.

No black Western Grips

No Hogue Grip or a.k.a Combat Grip

No .62 hybrid conversion kit with an option of a 4" or 3" barrel

You ordered a 3357 one way from Crosman

I have not looked for serial numbers yet. Would those tell me how old these guns are?

Anybody know when these were field guns? I would like to pin down when I first started playing.

I can tell you that Crosman manufactured the 3357 from 1986 to 1992.

That nelspot never needs lube, shoots 2,000 ball per second, never needs reloaded, doesn't require an air source and when the paintball hits somebody the result is the same as if Chuck Norris round house kicked them.
He nick named the gun Reggie.

Same 6 as a .50 caliber 3357, holes in the cylinder are just drilled out to .62 caliber (most it can be, as the walls between the holes are now very thin). The barrel insert is taken out, and looks like from the pictures that the housing is just left empty. Last the barrel housing is cut off short, to help with the velocity.

I sent my friend a message asking who did the conversions. No response yet.

And, no, I have not found the other ammo box yet. It's not high on my priority list. It is here... Just a question of when it wants to be found.
