I picked up some .40 cal blowgun barrels. Now to take one of these apart. Have you started on yours?

I never thought of blowgun barrels. that is a good idea.

here is where I get my tubing. I get a larger OD so I can machine it to what I want.

I haven't started mine yet.just not enough time in a day.

Order Aluminum 6061 Tube in Small Quantities at OnlineMetals.com

I have few questions. In the barrel, is there a removable .177 barrel, and what is the diameter inside there after the barrel is removed? What is the inside diameter of the holes in the cylinder? And, is there anyway to get this thing to work without the brass shells? Also, is there any off the shelf brass shells that might fit, like .44-40?

the barrel shrouds have to be bored out.

The cylinders also have to be bored out . I make a special size that works for me. I don't think there is a drop in shell. I don't know.

It's all a trial and error thing. Just see how far it can be pushed. I know 1/2" is to big.
