Schofield Pistol

Well, I finally completed my Schofield 40 caliber pistol.
I can't believe how accurate it is at 50 feet. It shoots in about a 4" dia. And what is really strange is the sights work with the paintballs. I haven't done any real testing with it. I have finally figured out how to stop the paint breakage in the conversions.

I have shot this one about 300 rounds so far without a barrel break.

The barrel is trimmed down now in the front. I leave it long on both ends so I can fit it better.

It's a real hoot for backyard shooting.

Bill, there are some things you are better off not knowing.

Nice looking piece. What kind of velocity are you getting out of this beauty?

I haven't checked the velocity yet. Of course being un regulated 12 gram it starts out high the drops pretty steadily. The 40 cal has to hit something that is hard before it breaks.

You get 40/50 really good shots. The Colts will shoot a 100 shots and break paint on a hard surface even at the lower velocities.

I am not sure what the Schofield will do yet as far as shot count. It does seem to put them out a little faster than the Colts. My Dan Wesson conversion slings them pretty hard too.

I really enjoy these as bb guns also. So shooting paint is a bonus for me.

Haha! yeah, I've been following from a far. The guys over here still hound me to play.

I still have my rare CCM beauties and parts. A lot of people been asking me to sell but it's hard to let go of perfection.
