Any experience w these .43?

Since finding a reasonably sized .68 SA pistol seems difficult

Backup for scenarios?

Probably wasting your money if the scenarios you refer to are at any commercial paintball field. Some may allow .50, but generally scenarios are FPO and field paint is .68.

I would be very hesitant to carry and particularly draw that on anyone outside a "simmunition" type practice. It looks FAR too real, and the only giveaway will be covered under the bottom of your hand.

I used to have a Ram X50 which is very similar to these. The problem is that most fields are FPO and they don't sell .43 cal paint. The reduced mass of these paintballs also translates into less range and more bounces. You also run the risk of your target not feeling the hit and the break being less than the size of a quarter (which some fields require for an elimination).

After reffing countless .50 games I have realized that .50 in general tends to bounce a lot more certainly due in part to reduced speeds as well.
