Brass and Wood Fan
Is there any way to de-volumize the valve?

That is what I also was thinking about, but without having one in my hands, I have no idea if it would be feasible.

Would probably work, but would sacrifice efficiency in the process. Figuring out a way to put a palmer cart reg or CCI reg in place of the black 12g tube seems to me like it would ultimately be the best solution, but also not something that the average DIY-er could do. I'd imagine decreasing the pressure with CO2 would not only bring it field legal, but result in more shots per cartridge.

As a tactical trainer, I won’t be disappointed if these aren’t marked field legal. I can think of a myriad of uses for it. Mine is Oscar mike from rockstar today lol

Did anyone manage to open the whole metal assembly? We should compare the internals of th 7J version with the 11J version

Re your facebook question -

So it's a (surprise surprise!) Blow forward bolt. Now, will cutting the spring lower the fps or should we use rubber shim to make it harder? Harder spring=lower dwell=less gas=lower fps?
Cutting the spring would indeed increase FPS. You either need a longer/stronger spring, or (the better solution) devolumize the valve with an insert.
