This is always a possibility on every pneumatic valve, where is the valve located and what type of valve is it? It might be as simple as drill and tap ...

More extensive would be to machine a new valve with a smaller port ...

They think it's a crosman valve

yes, yes I know - a 3.3 gram FSr/.68paint @ 300FPS is 13.J - but unfortunately - until the US gets with the times and switches to both a metric system and updates their ASTM guidelines to go by Joules we are stuck with the FPS limits we have ...
Wait, so even though it's faster than 300 fps, it hits softer because it's 50 Cal? That's cool. I play mostly private woodsball, so if it's safe, I bet my buddies will let me use it, even if it's faster.

Think about it like this:
When you put your hand out of the window of the car on a freeway and a fly hit you it stings a bit, but if a rock hit you, it will brake your hand ...

As for FPS vs. J I agree with el17e76 limiting energy would make more sense than limiting velocity ...
But last I played in France we still used FPS ... It might have changed since then ... I hope ... :P

If that took FSR's, and wasn't too heavy, I would probably buy it. (FSR's because I want something that need to stay in place.. maybe not even being used all day long without issue).

Obviously would need modding, but hey... I'm a tinkerer lol. Will probably be a stupid price though

EDIT: I don't know why I thought it was .68 lol. Dang it. Need .50 cal fsr.

It is easier to measure speed than energy. Would need some very well calibrated and durable equipment at fields to measure energy.

Naw it's easy. You just need to measure speed and mass and you can calculate the energy.

There's a rumor of 50 cal shaped projectiles that should fit this revolver
It also lists caliber sizes .177-68 cal in the German ad I saw

If the velocity is adjustable enough to be able to shoot round ball and FSR in 50 and 68 cal. it might become a new standard as pistol / sidearm ...

the more I read about it, the more I'm worried about the price point ...
