Very interesting to see that the 12 gram is upside down in the grip, likely gives it some extra power as it is likely sipping liquid co2. Also interesting as it appears that it pierces with a smack to the bottom of the grip.

No, if it works the way I think it does, the pierce pin is in the cap but the gas doesn't flow through it. Once you smack the cap to pierce the cartridge, the gas pushes the pin back out and pressurizes the whole 12g chamber, and the gas is drawn through a port at the top.

There were a couple of early paintball charger designs that worked that way. A benefit is that the pressurized changer acts as an expansion chamber, making the valve less likely to pick up liquid.

Back in the day I had a Crossman Mk.1 that had the same style of co2 pierce mechanism. It seemed to work well enough.

I believe the sydarm have the same co2 system ...
The big question remains weather it will shoot at field velocity.
The 50cal FSR seems to be powder filled.

Do we have a release date and an msrp yet?

There's a few rumours going around the EU scene stating an August release, with the price showing at ~100 euros on a few different sites. Fingers crossed that's the case!
