Henchman, thanks for sharing your experiments. I've been waiting for you to post this one since you mentioned it. I had also looked at a Lapco body, with this in mind. Do you mind sharing what exactly it took to put the Enmey into that body? One of my questions is would I just leave the original Lapco back cover off, so that the rear of the Enmey tube sticks out the back? Any help/info is appreciated!

The main thing is making a hole in the front so the ASA can screw to the Enmey powertube.
And the back cap stays off as well.

Now just waiting to find someone to thread the breach.

This is what you need for that project. Just have KPCS mill it to fit or any other machinest. KPCS also makes these as well. Just send the whole gun so he can mill to fit.

Contact him first. Hope this helps.

Problem is, if you look at the picture below, you will see that a feedneck as you posted, most likely won't clear the body.

But I am hoping KCPS can do the threading.
I alone have 4 I want done. And considering te number of cool aluminum ION bodies available, I can see more people wanting this done.

Thanks for the reply and info! Definitely interested in seeing what I can do with one of these bodies, and how yours turns out.

Really wish SP\GoG had continued using threaded breeches, theyre so many bodies available for gen 1 Ions, considering how many cross threaded breeches I've seen I can understand, its a very fine thread with not alot of material to work with.Odd they havent made more body options themselves especially a tac body
Wondering if you could use an old style Spyder feedneck with the tabs and tap into the breech?Would probably have to mod the body for that
If you dont mind a chunky, heavyish body the Deadlywinds DT tac body is threaded for a feedneck and can use a XE BOB firing chamber, currently using one for my Relay\boxmag Ion.DW had one for sale at a good price too
Still waiting for the G1M myself, dont think this will happen at this point
