About an Ion Virtue board

I was tech-ing an Ion for a friend, setting the board up in relation to bad air efficiency and trying to set the ROF cap.

I seemed to find that the board was the "old" version by lights and information within the fields. One thing I am confused about though. In the ROF section, I could not program it below 7/13 BPS
I cannot seem to locate anything that indicates this board was capped in that manner. I tried hitting the "unlock" button but honestly couldn't tell that it was or was not doing anything. I was able to change every other field within the marker.
If I pulled trigger any other amount of times less than 7, it would beep back 7, no matter what.

Am I missing something?

I am pretty sure this was the manual I was referencing.

https://www.zdspb.com/media/manuals/virtue_ion.pdf

The site indicated there was a newer manual....I don't think that is it, but some of the settings didn't line up to the newer one.

Send the board to Virtue and they may be able to reflash it to the latest available version.

I don't think that will happen. The owner was given this marker. He isn't going to spend a dime he doesn't have to.

I was just under the impression from looking at the manual that the board should have been capable out of the box, or that I still haven't found the proper manual.
I can't find a version number or any markings on the board that help.

It would seem that IF the board was actually starting at a 13 cap, that it would be setting 2, not setting 7. There doesn't seem to be a way to do the "unlimited" ROF, setting one.
I just feel like I am missing something.

The lowest number of blinks on a Virtue Redefined Ion Board for Rate of Fire is 7, which is uncapped.
