Ignore the guide rods, didn't mess with the models at that point. The tab at the front of the pump plte moved everything 1.125 closer. Everyone seems to really like that situation.

Thanks. The VA was the biggest issue at the beginning and everything was added from there.

Vert grip
CCM Premium handle compatible
Dual guide rod
Dual mounting point
1.03" OD barrel allowance

I hope it makes a lot of people happy, starting with the first 20

I'm not a machinist so I don't know, but is it possible to make a plate that would use the new CCM T-Grip or EZGrip?

It could, but the rods are already as high as they can go on the VA and the plate can't have them any lower. I think the point of those grips is to spoon (couldn't think of a better term ) the barrel and be as tight as possible. The layout of the Phantom makes that transition tough and probably slightly awkward looking. I'd love to be able to offer that as well, but I just don't think it would work. As long as CCM has premium handles for sale I think I am covered. I'm selling the kit with a handle too, so it's not like you HAVE to find an alternate

Oh I was just wondering. Are you making your own or providing a CCM handle?

It's cool, Q&A is how the kit has come this far. Can this work? Would this fit? Customers request and if it works they are getting exactly what THEY want, not what I want.

I'm making the clear one in the pics out of black delrin, it's clear there so you can see what's going on with the rods. At ~$30 a pop for the CCM handles I couldn't swing that for 20 kits. I wanted to, but just couldn't. The flipside is I have to make them, but that's ok, I have a lathe and a way to make the drill pattern.
