Sands of Iwo Jima scenario at BIP, GA April 12-13th
I didn't see it in here, so I figured I post it.
"The Battle of Iwo Jima, or Operation Detachment, was a major battle in which the United States Armed Forces fought for and captured the island of Iwo Jima from the Japanese Empire. The American invasion had the goal of capturing the entire island, including its three airfields, to provide a staging area for attacks on the Japanese main islands. This battle comprised some of the fiercest fighting of the War in the Pacific of World War II.
The Imperial Japanese Army positions on the island were heavily fortified, with a dense network of bunkers, hidden artillery positions, and underground tunnels. This invasion was the first American attack on Japanese home territory, and the Japanese soldiers and marines defended their positions tenaciously with no thought of surrender.
The day will start with a Simulated beach landing where American troops must push from one side of the field to the other in order to capture Mount Suribachi and 2 Airfields and mop up the resistance. After the beach landing game scoring will be based on pre determined capture and hold flag locations. There will be a Domination based night game. Sunday will be mission based scoring and a final battle in the town.
We will have 2 tanks on hand as well as artillery and law rocket launchers. But don't let that stop you from bringing out all of your own cool weapons as long as they are validated by the Game Coordinator prior to the game.

If you haven't made the drive to BIP before I suggest you do.
Their speedball setup is on point. Multiple fill stations, covered pits, bleachers, nice little proshop, plenty of parking, great employees. Their woodsball/town is pretty nice as well. They have over 80 acres in total.
If possible...make both.
