I've heard good things about The Stockyards.

In another thread I mentioned an old APG from the early 90's that had a guy holding an airsoft M-60 on the front cover. That is probably that largest US mass marketed info at this point. There are other airsoft magazines and websites/forums, but I have yet to have the time to really dig for historical info.

CA is a pretty good site for getting basic information but take it from me, repairing these things is a giant pain. I just got my ANGS carbine repaired and it only took two years.....to find an o-ring!!!

I have played PB off and on but always kept up with it since the late 80's. I played AS for about a year and basically got sick of all the cheating and the re-spawns. I did a LOT of tech work on AS guns including designing an air engine that I was pretty proud of.

We built some howitzers, land mines, grenades and all kinds of stuff. The guns my guys and I played with were the most feared on the field because they were whisper quiet and deadly accurate. We stayed well under the legal FPS but they were tuned to the max !!!

If someone would run actual competitions where teams or individuals ran a course against the clock while engaging targets with refs and scoring my son and I would be back in a heart beat.

We did have some awesome times playing with the core group we were surrounded by but in the end little kids claiming they never got hit simply pushed us out.
