Welcome to those who play airsoft

I bugged Carter for this one last week.

I used to be on some airsoft forums... that either died out or went the way of PBN... overrun by kids always asking the same questions or saying things looked gay etc.. but with no real content.

So I went to Carter with the thought of creating a corner of MCB for folks that play airsoft, that maintains the key ideals of MCB... basically we are here to have fun, be safe, play competitively.. while having fun. And hopefully be ambassadors to the sport.... even if it's not paintball.

So post up... questions, Skirmish/Game locations, big events, your load-out etc.

Hopefully this will work out.

Glad to see this subforum! I got out of paintball due to being overshot one time too many. A locally-owned airsoft store opened nearby, I went in and I was hooked.

I still hit up MCB because the level of discourse is so much higher than most other paintball/airsoft forums.

I airsoft as well. I got into it for an activity for my son and I to play, he wasn't ready for paintball yet. We both run M4 platforms and sport the Valken sierra multicam.

We haven't had as much of a chance to play as I would like, but he really digs it. Just need to work on his trigger control.

Been playing for about a year or two now myself. Sadly even though I left MCB I kept my gunwhoring ways and ended up with waaay too much gear. I do note that the sport has quite the lack of records for its history, which is rather sad.

Yeah there is no MCB of airsoft.

In another thread I mentioned an old APG from the early 90's that had a guy holding an airsoft M-60 on the front cover. That is probably that largest US mass marketed info at this point. There are other airsoft magazines and websites/forums, but I have yet to have the time to really dig for historical info.

OKSoldier, where is your field located? I know OK has quite a bit of airsoft activity. I believe American Milsim has a lot of its core there.
