It's not any different than timing an autococker. Once you got everything purring, ya just don't touch it until it needs it! Haha

Lots of backspin even with hop up off. Sounds to me like your arm or nub are out of whack, visually check down the barrel and chamber with the hop up dialed off to see if it's still protruding badly and then check the arm and its gear. I've had a few arms that didn't play nice with seemingly normal hop up chambers due to minute flaws in one or the other.

Nope, barrel is clear and the hop nub is retracted.

Handcrafted in Chiwan. If you're gonna shoot somebody with something it should be at the very least nice, and made close to home by people who love their work right? Or am I too backwards in my thinking.

So, today while thinking (like Pooh.. "Think Think Think") I realized... what about the old nubbin that came with the gun rather than the one that came with the Madbull bucking. Found it. Pulled the Hop-up unit and the Madbull nubbin and compared it to the OEM nubbin.. well I'll be, the madbull nubbin is bigger than the OEM one, like half again as big! So that when it's in the Hop-up it's already pushing the bucking.

Put the OEM bucking back in, got it all back together and took it for a spin.....

Back in business! Running an approximate 290 mm 6.04 bore barrel with my birdcage mounted right in front of the front sight/gas block. I'm a happy camper now.
