Looking for a boneyard mg42

I want to make an mg42, so I need a dead shell. I can't seem to find any for cheaper than 390. That's a bit steep for a hack job. Have you guys seen any around? I looked through all the main sites I could think of and a couple forums and Reddit.

Even if one of you has a dead agm you would part with I would be interested! Thanks!

Smiffington, I get e-mails from International Military Antiques | Military Collectibles, Militaria, Antique Guns, 400 years of Military History for Sale ima-usa.com . You may remember the show "Family Guns" on the History Channel, They have MG42's. Scary money though.

That website is amazing! I could easily waste tons of money there!

All I could find for an mg42 was a cleaning kit. Even if they had a resin cast one like they have the M2HB I would try to make that work. But, I couldn't seem to find any. Awesome site nonetheless! Their DeLisle and Lewis had me drooling!

They make a mg42 kit for the 10/22: (not exact scale but could mock up the CETME Ameli)

RugerŪ 10 / 22 MG - 42 Dress - up Kit - 90596, Stocks at Sportsman's Guide

Are you making a paintball marker? I had considered one but the mg34 looked easier. They have repo parts on ebay - butts, pistol grips ...

I saw that kit. The problem is they haven't been produced in a while and were made quite cheaply. I wouldn't mind cheap, it it held together but I gathered that theese don't.
