I'm in the process of trying to find a cheap Flatline to adapt to a VM... So far haven't had much luck

That gun is awesome! That's the kind of setup I dreamed of as a kid and probably would have dominated in the woods games we played back then. Let us know how well it does!

Sounds good! What are you playing with that day? Should be a fun time!

That is sick!

I wish I could make it out to Wasaga this year. My home field forever, but I live too far away now.

Have a blast man!

I liked the original flatline over the newer version. Just like back when it came out, you need the right paint for it. Get too small or too brittle, it just doesn't get the job done and makes a mess.

As someone who played a lot of woodsball with the barrel, good lord was it amazing in normal engagement ranges. Those massive palmetto palm fronds won't protect you with this barrel, just shoot under them or tilt the marker and shoot around them. At longer ranges, just super easy to sidestep and bounces most of the time.

Having played with original flatline yesterday at Wasaga Paintball big game, I can confirm what Paintzapper is saying , in that the paint is pretty key.

I checked my case in the morning for broken paint , all good, so I took my paint back to my table. Started loading pods and realized my paint had quite a few misshaped paintballs. My case might have been bottom of the pallet. Who knows? anyhow, I rolled with it and went out to play.

The flatline was pretty fun, the extra distance is confirmed! But with my sub par paint, lots of flyers and curveballs. It was still fun to keep those pesky Red team's heads down from afar ! But hard to pick folks off at the extra distance.

Anyhow, I played with the flatline m98 until my first barrel break, realized I forgot my pull through squeegee ( duh! ) , and determined I was down and out. There ain't no shoothing thru a break with a flatline , I can tells ya that!

So off I went back to camp, and switched out the M98 for my autococker for the rest of the day.

I'll definitely experiment with the flatline again in the future, if I can get some really nice round stuff to play with. I'm still curious to see how the flatline handles better quality paint. Cheer, M7
