Hotel accomodations for Castle Conquest?
Me and my dad are going to be driving up to Castle Conquest, but we've decided to go the hotel route instead of staying at the bunkhouses. Are there any affordable hotels/motels in close proximity to EMR? We'll probably be at the field the majority of the time, so a place that's not an absolute dump, with sleeping and shower accomodations is all we need.
Also, today is the last day for pre-registering for the event, but I always get EMR's answering machine. Is there any way else to pre-reg? I'd rather pre-reg to save $10 and some time doing it at the event.

I know a few of the team, myself included, are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Gibson.
Its about 5 miles away from EMR.

You can pre-reg with paypal direct through the webiste or you can mail in a check or money order all the instructions are here
There are hotels up & down the interstate, Binghamton NY is the closet large town, there are also some local 'Bates' motels a mile or so from EMR in New Milford. Look through the website for those listings.
Some people are like slinkies......kinda useless but they do make me smile when pushed down the stairs.

The Pocono's are a major tourist attraction, depending on how far you want to drive, there are a variety of options.
The Pittston Knights inn(Pittston PA)is one of the cheapest options - rooms as low as $45. I've never stayed there though.
