Windows Movie Maker issue
Now that it's summer, and I'm not taking summer classes, i'm finally getting around to making some cockerpunk-style videos about some of the cool guns I have, but I'm having a problem with Movie Maker. At the start of each video clip, whenever I make a cut or whatever, the footage is black for a second or 2 before returning to normal. This happens regardless of what i'm filming with, be it my gopro, my phone, or my point and shoot. It's really annoying, especially since i'm doing a lot of jump cuts cuz I suck at long takes. Anyone know how to fix this?
And yes, I know movie maker sucks, but it's free and I already know how to use it. Additionally, I've already finished editing the video in question, short of fixing this issue, and I'd rather not have to go back and re-edit everything. It took long enough as it is (not because of movie maker, just the volume of cuts I had to make).
