I have an Angel LCD I am going over in detail. My breech block is seized, and the pins are visibly rusty at the end. I'm stuck getting out the front grub screw and have the rest of the gun apart.
Anyway. I have a WDP supplied battery pack from 2002ish and the original charger. I was lucky, and it's holding a charge quite well. It's been a week and still operating the solenoid fine. I took it out today, just to get a proper look at it. It seems to me I could take it to Batteries Plus (.com, but brick and mortar shops too) and have them replicate it. I was able to get them to reproduce two battery packs for some electric shavers I have on the spot. They have bare cells and a "welding" device that attaches the necessary tabs.
If you have an original battery, I am sure a new pack can be remanufactured using the original wiring.

Kroil will help with the rust. I once had to cut out rods.
