older tippmann

I found this on my local kijiji, looks like the owner doesn't know what it is, and all I know is it looks like an old tippmann. Would it be worth picking up?

2 set package- vintage and competition

what do you think it would be worth? he never really gave a price, just $500 for the whole package. stuff tends to go high around here anyway...

If you actually wanted it I'd say around $125 for everything. I wouldn't expect to flip for much of a profit even at that price.

In that condition $20-40 would be fair

lol I never even thought about buying the lot. I dont have the cash to drop on a bunch of gear I dont need, even the $125 that it might be worth. I was only thinking of the 68 special so that my 3357 wouldn't feel so lonely, being my only gun more than 5 years old

I think anybody on mcb would be amazed/horrified by how high some stuff goes around here.

Offer 80 tops. It looks pretty crud covered and beat up. You can get a pretty nice one off here in better shape rather easily.

The scope mounts look to be JB welded to the hammer tube. The hammer tube slides through the rear receiver ring for removal. Thus the gun cannot be completely broken down without undoing the scope mounts. Just something to keep in mind.

That tube does have grooves to accept a scope mount. Though I remember on mine, a scope would hit the site, so I had to cut a part of the site off. Surprisingly easy to do.

The groove is pretty small though. Maybe the scope kept falling off?
