I know this may be a long shot but I'm looking to get a Rufus Dawg vert feed / center feed for a Tippmann 98 custom.

The 98 is a clam shell, 2 halves. I've thought of epoxying off the feed hole and reshaping but the body has to come apart right where the threads would have to be. Of course we are all thinkers......

Ya i realize that the 98 is a clam shell but I wasn't sure if you could just cut a hole and thread it for a specific feed neck thread and call it a day, given that the body consistently lined up the threads for a feed neck.

Or epoxy a treaded collar to one side of the hole you drill. If that pot metal body could handle welding, I'd just weld a half piece of pipe on each side and clamp on an Ego or BL feedneck. If there is enough meat, you maybe able to grind a post for the feedneck to clamp to then drill out the hole.

But I am selling that one. Effectively what you want but cleaner air through grip and with better internals.
