WTB YETI/ARCTIC cooler

These are hard to find used. I'm assuming everyone that bought them likes them so much they wanna keep them. The size I'm looking for is a 45 but will consider a 35 or 20.

I'd be hard pressed to sell any of my yeti stuff. My buddy is obsessed and bought us all the big travel tumblers as groomsman gifts. We're all obsessed now.

The construction and materials. They are double insulated with a thick foam filling between the walls. I have a knockoff from Cabellas and it will hold ice for almost 2 days sitting in direct sunlight. They are like one step above the old school metal marine coolers. Are they a necessity? No. Do I love mine? Yes.

I would say you are going to be hard pressed finding these second hand. Look into Cabellas or just waiting for RTIC to make new ones (I went with Cabellas because RTIC had a 2 month wait).

Yeah, very happy with my Yeti knock-off tumbler. The things for real.

Iv'e been reading reviews that RTICs hold ice slightly longer than the same size YETI coolers and they're quite a bit cheaper. I don't believe there's any waiting needed ordering from RTICs website these days. Hopefully someone has one lying around not getting used

My dad has an RTIC 20 and I have a Yeti hopper 30. Both are awesome and hold ice for a long time. Quality seems similar except the Yeti's zippers are a little nicer.

Hopper 30 is only like $200 at Marshalls right now instead of 350.

Probably could try your hand at craigslist or ebay to find a used one

I have two RTIC coolers, the 65 and 40

They are near an exact copy of the YETI, but they were half the cost. After loosing the lawsuit that YETI filed, they have redesigned with slight modifications and increased there prices as well. Still a cheap YETI alternative.

I would buy one again without hesitation. They keep ice for a week. I've compared with friends YETI and it keeps the ice just as long. The key with any of these coolers is prep of the cooler prior to use if you desire a weeks worth of ice.

Unless your buying local, I'm not sure you save anything buying a used cooler d/t shipping cost.

Right on. I've been keeping an eye out on Craigslist and other bst apps and haven't had any luck. I've pretty much told myself I'll have to find one online. Maybe wait for a sale to come up. Then I found this cooler made by Cold Bastards
https://m.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-COL...d=581566463679
About $10 cheaper than an RTIC but CB offers additional features like roller wheels and a ruler on the lid ( which I can see being useful for fishing). The downside is I can't find any reviews on it besides the ones by Cold Bastards themselves because these were just released this year. I might have to bite the bullet and just spend the $250 for a 40. From the responses I got on here it seems like a good buy
