WTB automag benchmark trigger plate

I have a single finger benchmark automag frame and the plastic trigger plate make the marker go full auto when you dont want to... I was not able to adjust it to work proprely

So i am looking for a single finger trigger plate that could work on a benchmark
I have another benchmark frame with the big metal trigger plate and i like the feel so if you have one of those or any other that could fit

Let me know what you have

My mag

I think your going to have to go with the large metal single trigger. send Forrest or Tracy at PTP and see if they have what you want. you can find them in the dealer section

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're looking for. What's a trigger plate? Do you mean the trigger itself? Or the shoe?

I'm also confused why you think the plastic trigger plate is making the valve shoot foot auto. In my experience, triggers have little to do with how the valve shoots.

Firstly , Nice Mag but I am having the Same confusion as rawbutter , ^^^^^^ what exactly are you looking for ? If you polish the top of the trigger To much much like we use to do in the early 90's the trigger would react and shoot what seemed full auto and render the trigger junk. Was anything done to the trigger like that ?

I think he needs a new sear and wants the stainless style 1 piece trigger.

WTB automag benchmark trigger plate

I am new to mag but i have 3 at home so let me explain what i did for trouble shoot and if you know adjustment that you think could work let me know

When I receive the mag the sear would not catch when I pump, I changed the sear that was on another working classis mag but did not change
It sometime catch but the trigger released with the smallest pressure

I changed the frame for a composite one and with both sear it was working as it should

So I would assume the issue is limited to the plastic trigger plate (I dont know if it was modified but it is kind of loose so it could be)
I will send picture of the trigger plate tonight

If you think some adjustment can solve this let me know

If not, i am looking for a stainless type 1 finger trigger or anything that could fit and work

There has to be a gap about the width of a credit card between the trigger and the rod that is attached to the sear. If the rod is too long, turn it to shorten the length.

Here is robotech's animation of the automag:

I agree, sounds like you need to adjust the sear length. Also, double check the lip of your bolt to see if it is rounded off at all, you want the edge to be nice and sharp.
