I took Rainmaker s tpu feedneck topper adapter from Thingiverse. I modeled a 45 * offset into it with the loft feature, and printed one off. Seems to work! Paint feeds, and it's sluggish on both ends. I think it needs more infill with the 45* in it. an empty rotor feels like itll wobble on you if shake it hard enough. A lighter hopper would be totally fine.

I may rip another off with 60% infill to see if the clamp force on the marker is better.

Ive had the files, and the bearings on hand for over a year. Finally got around to printing a second filament roller for my other printer. It'll help reduce drag on my extruder motors.

Turns out Fusion 360 changed their thread builder since the last time I created and printed a design with threads. From what I gather the new builder is correct and the old one flawed. It just happened that the flaw make 3d printed threads work and the new ones are too tight. I adjusted the treads and I am printing up some test bolts and nuts to see if I need to go with variant A or B

As you can see orienting the faces to the build plate was a bad idea, removing the supports chewed up the walls on the face of the bolt.

This is one of the things I love about resin printing, fine detail.

This past weekend, I churned out this tpu buttpad for this stock. Its printed with 5 walls, and 15% infill with the lines pattern for max fluff.

A while back, skully/a5 proved his printing prowess by easily making me this AR compliant stock out of wood PLA. As I told him I wish I could print wood pla for stuff exactly like this.

We had to break it the model as it was too big for his print bed. , but he made a nice little biscuit joint in tinker cad. And I used wood glue to bond them together. It's kinda ugly, but it held up to my sanding it at least.
Tonight I hit said stock with some 150 grit, and 2x coats of walnut stain. It's cool enough.

              I dig this!

Couldn't find a GoPro mount that would work with the CRBN Zero's tiny vent holes so I made a quick one.

Well, the Ender has been collecting dust for the past couple months.

I decided to fire up a test print with PLA just to make sure everything was working, and it was a dumpster fire. I had the choice of spaghetti or blob of death.

Put it back to CF-PETG, and it's perfect. I dunno.

Designed a new feed for the Trracer build, and other than some stringy bits, the "test print" came out great so I'm keeping it.

I'll be uploading the STL for this feed in the next week or so once I've refined it.

              Now onto the commissioned work...

                That feed is pretty sweet.
