I have a full page ad somewhere. I need to load up my laptop and my backup drive and find it.

That's correct - 97-98, Brass Eagle Angels. The Eagleworks barrel for the Rainmaker and the Raptor is a descendant of the Jacko barrels for Angels.
Also, the Raptor timeline - 96-97 Green, 98-00 Silver/Xtreme, LTD 2000 in 00. Might've still been some leftover production in 2001.

I also think that the Brass Eagle marketing in the late 90s mirrored that of Nickelodeon, which helped with some memory association.

So, you ended up with guns like the JT ER2 or DL-9 which clearly shared Brass Eagle (and Kingman) design DNA but were sold as JT products.
My guesses as to the last Brass Eagle guns to still carry the name might be the Talon Ghost II from 2007.
T-Storm
X-plorer
Striker
Raider
Liberator
Saber
Talon Ghost
Talon Ghost II
So maybe they kept the brand alive until 2009, and then rolled everything over to JT. I guess it's possible the Talon Ghost II and the T-Storm share the distinction of being the last Brass Eagles.
It's really unfortunate that Brass Eagle hosed themselves like they did. For a while, they were really innovative, in their own weird, kinda clunky way. I played with a Stingray for a long time and loved it. Played a few times with a Raptor and found it to be a very nice marker (superior to the Spyder of the day). I wish there were a way to bring Brass Eagle back back from extinction.Last edited by Ironnerd; 06-06-2021, 08:45 AM.
