    inside of body prior to Anno. .

      CCM hones all of their bodies. I want to say there is a video somewhere showing how they do it.

          The same method and machine I use, my Sunnen Hone. Depending on the stones, it can leave a near polished surface on aluminum. I do remember that old video your refering to. Was like an old tour of their shop.
