I was gonna post up about that valken belt, I run zetamags in it and have a generic amazon magazine holders on the sides and a dump pouch in the middle, pretty easy and convenient,
Also I see you're from Oakland any chance you're coming down to Cartel Wars at Gladiator in San Luis Obispo this weekend? I was told supposedly close to 80 something registered for both days and 20ish are registered for just Saturday

I was trying to find something that worked, and didn't go super wide, which generic mag holders are you using? And dump pouches, looking for something large enough that works, and stays open.

Didn't know about the game down in SLO, not going to be able to make it.

I have 2 of these, I remember along with the triple holders, they used to offer double and single holders

ROCOTACTICAL Tactical Molle Magazine Pouch, Open Top, Kriss Tactical Triple Mag Pouch, Molle Triple Tactical Mag Pouch https://a.co/d/5tWX4uN

And this dump pouch in between them

Warrior Quest 1000D Nylon Folding Tactical Dump Pouch – Foldable Molle Magazine Mag Dump Pouch … https://a.co/d/7q87nyv

The dump pouch seems pretty roomy, I remember it held all 6 zeta mags pretty well and has a large opening with draw string and a velcro latch(the latch could be longer, but I always run it without it)

I'll take a pic/video of my setup this weekend

Thanks for the links, I'll check out the dump pouch, the mag holders won't manage the cf20 mags sadly.

I wasn't happy with a chest rig, not being able to see where my feet were going while running in the woods was slowing me down. This is my setup after reading this thread and doing some testing on my own.
            • Valken Molle Belt $15 at ansgear (the xl has 13 molle slots across the back)
            • Crbn Mag holders $80 for 6 holders (using 6 molle slots)
            • Planet Eclipse Mag dump pouch $30 (using 5 molle slots)

I'm happy with the setup testing in the backyard, the only downside is that half the mags are only accessible by either my right or left hand. The dump pouch is big enough to contain all 7 empty mags, a pod of paint to refill during slow times, a bottle of water and a few dollars in the zipper pocket for snacks.

A bit of a necro, I know. But I’m wondering if anyone else has had experience with the HK Synapse and/or the CRBN pouches. The Synapse is still available and I have a lead on some CRBN pouches. If I do pull the trigger on an EMF200 that I’ve been eyeing, then these are my top picks. When it comes to magfed, I lean more towards the magspeed side than milsim, so these look like what I have in mind.

I picked up used vest and mag holders recently for my Dye CF20 mags. The mag folder look like these: https://a.co/d/0d8TOr5x and work really well for the CF20 mags. You can adjust the tension as needed. The vest also came with 4 pockets attachment that also fit the Dye CF20 mag. So I put the better mag holders on a battle belt and chest mounted the pockets so I can carry up to 8 mags if I wanted. Have not tried in the field yet.

This is the best with the holders I swapped to the battle belt.

I felt these holders mounted to the vest moved too much and weren’t comfortable. Putting them on the belt they felt good and tight. I bias the belt to my right hip so I can grab mags easier. And can wear the belt and the vest at the same time if I wanted to carry that many mags at one time.

Yeah, I’m looking to avoid vests, chest rigs, and any other options that place the mags up front in order to avoid hard surfaces for paint to break on and to keep everything lightweight and out of the way.
