NXL - Road to a Championship

I was listening to this weeks PTG podcast and they had the new producer and director for the NXL on. They announced that this ~45 min mini documentary is going to drop today. I had not heard about it till today.

Ill add that this looks amazingly produced and I'm excited to watch it. I enjoy watching all forms of paintball and their drive to make it more "consumable" by the average person is a worthy pursuit in my option.

It’d be nice to see something like this make it onto a streaming service, with some advertising. Get something well produced out beyond the regulars to eyes that may catch attention.

I can't believe speedball is still that big. I'll definitely watch it... and then watch it make me want to join a speedball team again. And then realize it's been 15 years since i've been on a speedball team and it's probably a terrible idea. Sounds like a bad decision that's right up my ally

I cant believe it was not advertised more that the 3v3 show they did made it onto Disney+.

I honestly thing media like this is more important at the moment, then televised events. This can show the effort and dedication players have, plus give an opportunity to explain what the game play is about. All things difficult to do with event coverage, especially building the story of the team(s).

live viewership, in theory, should develop as the public learns and takes interest in the game. When they have their team and want to see how dynasty is performing at the Dallas open.
