Not sure I like this. I've never equated contract killers with high quality. I'd be glad to be wrong on this though

Isn't Macdev based in Australia? Hopefully this is just an investment/ownership type deal and they won't be moving production or rebranding anything. Macdev is a cooler name than CK. I always thought the CK brand was cringe on the same level as HK.

Oh, and what's even more cringe than the company name is their CEO writing things like "FK OFF" and "Kill your demons" in a press release (2nd image in the insta post) about the acquisition of a company...

Firstly it’s very cringe and funny because he is trying to sound all tough but self censored a curse word. Secondly , yeah the brands products are more for me to show my wife when they pop up and say “yeah early 2000s was different and kind of lame”. Like some of those grips were so so cool as long as you were 14 and never grew up

All I can foresee that the consumer will get out of this is macdev guns covered in cringe and tacky laser art.

If they lean back into paintball, i hope they keep the tribal tattoos & profanity on the mma side. I liked old Hybrid/CK stuff (asas, socks, some grips) but not the stuff that glorifies murder and misogyny.

So GI is just going to be making the same paint with another company to drop ship with a new name on it. Paint issues still remain.
