    Need a JT Mask Fan

    Hello All

I am in need of a JT Mask fan. Used is fine. Any condition is fine. I am using it on a Spectra.

Not what you're looking for but... Went to ION 2 years ago and saw guys out there with tiny computer fans zipped tied up with a battery pack. They said it moved enough air and the low voltage kept it quiet.

There's nothing like nostalgia though if you're looking for that last piece to bring you're JT mask/setup to life.

Thats how i roll. Ebay will have tiny fans, 9 volt holder with on / off, and wire it up and zip tie fan to opening above lens. Works great.

I bought one of these on ebay, because i wear glasses, and i swear on all that is holy that i wish i had found this fan system 15 years ago. The pre made jt style paintball fans are loud and borderline useless. The tiny 9volt battery with 2 tiny fans works AWESOME!. And i live in florida, where its as hot and humid as satan's gym socks.

I wear a profiler and can attest that they rarely ever fog up, but the fans clear it up fast.

What a coincidence, I have a JT fan that needs a new home. All the pegs are there, blows air, sucks air, everything you'd expect it to do.

Let us know how it works.

I bought an exFog system but never got a chance to use it in a night game, which is the only time I fog.

You guys se this. I know a buddy of mine ran this and swore by the design. He had the extremely expansive military version but this looks like a $45 knock off one that uses the same simple concept.

ExFog® is a U.S. based company dedicated to providing resilient anti-fog solutions for all types of goggles and headwear. Reach us at 574-612-8439 to learn more

The JT fans are pretty crappy they are loud and the battery connections need regular repair the wires are so fine they use to pop off all the time on me. Also don’t use it without a visor because they shader when hit directly with a paintball. You can use a lil Graphite on the fan shaft to quiet it down a lil.

The “509” work well but they are loud to I used a thin piece of foam between the frame mount that helped but it’s only slightly less annoying then the JT.

Don't let the heat get the best of you. Our Anti-fog Goggle Fan converts any of our 509 goggles into a fog-less pair with the push of a button. The sleek design won't get in your way and the motor is so quiet you will forget it's on. Keep your view clear and enjoy the ride with our Anti-fog Goggle Fan.

I think the mini PC fans like MelroseJedi posted is a great option. That’s a great home brew option likely the cheapest to.

However the one I posed above puts the intake and fan at the back of your mask and it pumps the air in with two tubes that are similar to surgical tubing. They move a good amount of fresh air to the back side of the lens. I have been told you can’t beat them if you use glasses under your mask.

I never have fog issues with my Virtue/Bk mask I often just use that when it matters. The proflex in the rain is just no fun but you can’t beat the comfort. I just use a different mask to play in the rain. Also am a fair weather baller so take what I said with a grain of salt. What I do know is those JT fans suck.
