3D printing or modification skills for a project, etc

I'm looking to see if there is anyone that has the skills, and service to possibly modify "The MAK" - CCI Phantom Magfed Adapter Kit (https://www.paintzapper.com/mak) to connect onto the hopper port of a T9 / 9.1 marker? This magfed kit allows one to use any Tipx, Zeta or similar mag as an additional alternative source to feed projectiles, traditionally designed for the CCI Phantom launcher. But I am looking to see about having one modified to work on a T9 / 9.1. I'm actually surprised someone hasn't already made a 3D printed to do the same thing as "The Mak", but for the T9 / 9.1.

I'm searching for any Special Ops Longbow magazine adapter that will allow the use of the Longbow tubular magazines within the hopper port of the Tiberius / First Strike T9 series markers. If anyone has one or knows of anyone that has one or more for sale, please let me know. I would gladly take it off your hands.

I'm the designer of the MAK (along with some help from Paintzapper for the magwell dimensions, and his general awesomeness. Truly he is the brains and execution behind the MAK, i'm just the CAD-man-do). The trouble is, I don't have a T9/9.1 to measure and test against. I'm sure it's a do-able project though.

Oh wow, what an honor to garner your response! Would it be worth your time if you had a T9/9.1 to perform your magic?

I see that the MAK is being sold for about $40 each. Would you estimate a "T" MAK (my made up name for a T9/9.1 MAK mag adapter) have the same price point? Even though the Tiberius T series of markers are no longer manufactured, I would think there would still be a market for a T - MAK? If one of these were already made, I would also use it on the Pepperball VKS I have, of which they are still being mass produced.

I guess my point is, really my question, is how much would you estimate something like this would cost to design and develop? While I, am in a somewhat biased, self serving position to already have this available for use. I'm fully empathic toward your position, that taking the time and expense to make something like this, has to be worth your time. As well as have a lucrative market demand for a T-MAK mag adapter. Please let me know if this is something you believe is worth exploring?

And now that were on this subject. I also have another mag related item I have been looking to develop, for a fairly ubiquitous air gun model that I (can only) assume would have a wide level of interest as well if available for purchase.

Well, as a 2-3 week old MCB newbie and one that just got into air propelled platforms last year, I really don't have any fore knowledge as to the answer to your question. Even if it had a potentially rhetorical premise. However, if as you state is MCB's primary MO, my thesis is based in anecdotal terms and not based on the plethora of posts I have not fully read nor followed. But that of what I observe from how quick the T series and their iteration of markers are quickly sold on ebay, et al platforms. They still do seem to go for a premium price. Despite this and their discontinued status, they still appear to be quite a ubiquitous marker, potentially worthy of manufacturing after market accessories, such as those designed by "Rainmaker" & "Paintzapper". I know in due time I will be procuring me one or more of the "MAK" and if ever made for a T series of marker a "T-MAK"...

As far as the designing side of things, I'm fine with doing one-off designs for folks but I've learned my lesson trying to design something without the marker in-hand to test fit.

On the marketing, selling, mass production side, I'm not personally up for the task. I'm more of a print-on-demand type. And I'm not really knowledgeable about the demands for that product. Paintzapper is the brains behind that side of things.

No worries man. Yes as you may know, the T9/9.1 is both a mag & hopper fed marker. There are a couple of things I am looking to achieve.

1. To use the hopper with 2 different mag options as an alternative to the pistol grip mag, allowing quick access to additional rounds, which is accomplished by a quick 1/4 turn of the barrel.
1a) To connect either a Tipx 7 round mag, an extended Tipx 12 round tru-feed mag or even a Zeta 20 mag to the hopper port via the "MAK".
2a) To also have a Longbow 20 round mag to feed rounds in the hopper port, quite likely in a different T9 / 9.1.

2. I am also looking to hook up the same hopper port fed mag on a Pepperball VKS (which is also a mag fed in an AR like platform), and shares the same regulator as the T9 / 9.1.

Rainmaker I believe that this was the gentlemen that contacted me on ebay and directed here to MCB.

As to selling and demand for this item, this would be a 1 off production, and honestly price should be taken in accordingly. Prices I have on Ebay reflect my purchasing of larger batches and save me a great deal of money doing so. There may have been just one other request for the same item since we started making these, unless it will fit any other setup it will not enter a "production" phase.

Rainmaker, the simplest and easy way is to create an adapter plate similar to how we have the universal feedneck. This way we will not have to completely redesign the entire adapter and be less of a cost for both your time and our friends wallet. If you are to print, please do at a 15-20 degree tilt as to help reduce splitting and breaking when hardware is applied. I can send you some hardware if you choose to design and print it to ensure a proper fit.
