I've been getting into SC and (very) limited paint setups, and I wanted to set up my Hurricane with a springfeed of some sort.
I was able to get my hands on an Empire springfeed but they're really designed to lock onto an Empire-spec feedneck and don't hold well on anything else, and without an additional support it was quite wobbly... I didn't want to modify it to fit, so it made more sense to use it on something else like my Phantom.
I've had some ideas kicking around for a bit and since I've been playing around with Sheridans lately figured I'd make it out of brass. I got all the springfeed components from Alexndl and he even designed a "union" piece that joins two 10 round springs together without binding or tangling them up, so I could go with an extra-long feedtube.
It holds 14 in the tube, plus another two in the marker's feedneck.
I need to finish it up at work this week - I have an air saw with a very fine blade that I'll use to slot the clamping feedneck I designed for it - and then probably paint it with the same stuff I did my PGP build with.
