I was given a dm12 board and the sticky grips which kicked off this project, found that NT frames are flat on top making them a better choice than the dm ones of similar years.


I have a couple fitment issues to work through, the primary being that the front of the frame needs to be removed or it interferes with the vasa

Good idea, I'll make is so this position and pushed back are options that can be used. Being able to not mod the frame would be nice.

With the frame pushed back the rear of the frame will hang off the end of the marker which I don't like the look of. But will give it a shot.

If you extend and taper that green adapter piece, it may look decent.

Do you also have the option/tooling to mill a flat or groove in the VASA to accommodate the frame?

I don't have the tools/ trust in my skills to mod the vasa in that way, I would rather add a 1/8 npt female to male adapter to act as a spacer. That solution would be ugly but work and not be permanent.
