    Interesting cocker with LPR volumizer

    Not mine

The volumizer on the LPR is interesting
Makes me think its to allow it to operate at very low operating pressure

        Okay...

This guy who built that is a bit of a legend in the Facebook groups.... He bench grinds and home annoed everything.

The work is "eh" at best but it is a know guy

There is one of the reasons I don't have a Facebook account.... Too many Legends (in their own minds)!

The fact the coupler on the volumizer piece is anno'd is interesting. I think I'd rather go with a normal banjo bolt volumizer though. This just seems like a great way to snap off your lpr when you take a tumble.

I don't hate the ano job, but the LPR extended mount is perplexing. Take something solidly mounted and put it out on a lever to make it more prone to damage. Brilliant.

As Bryan said above, this dude does this to all his cockers he posts on FB.

            It's bizarre.

I don't think he personally annos them. I know he's talked about sending stuff out in bulk.

On Facebook theres a group of a few of us called "grinder gang" where it's all hand cut builds.

              I cut up a rough 2k4 myself.

There are many, over the years, who have done their work by hand. Some few, are artists and create beautiful and functional equipment. The rest are not as talented, and produce results that can only be described as ugly, and sometimes non-functional.

I know my limitations, and don't even make the attempt.

I love doing the by hand stuff. I have quite a lot of it in my collection.

Its not the prettiest custom grind/mill but he did manage to significantly improve the look of the 2004 body design, so I applaud for that. The LPR thing… it’s interesting to put it politely.

He's imitating the long LPRs found on Rudy Dean autocockers.

One has to remember that there are many autocockers that are never meant to see a paintball field, they are 'works of art' and wall hangers
I knew someone once who had a large collection of artsy cockers including an Eclipse Aurora.
None of them ever went out to play

Good points, though the Rudy Deans are a bit more robust in the frontal appendage department. Someone's going to turn it into a pump anyway.

                  This is a travesty, IMO.

He does not extend every LPR on his grind builds. This was one I thought turned out well.... obviously inspired by pps SwissCheese.
I actually enjoy seeing what they end up with. I think it's great there's still guys out there pushing edges and trying new things even if
they don't always appeal to the masses. There's nothing more boring than a "cookie cutter" Cocker Click image for larger version
