Hang in there. Try to focus on the positives.
I know it’s hard to be optimistic in trying times, but, as a (3x) cancer survivor, I can attest that positive thoughts helped me through the worst of it.
Cancer sucks, but it doesn’t have to be some unimaginably horrible, all-powerful monster if you don’t give it that power over you (or your sister).
I viewed mine as an annoying asshole that I just wanted gone so I wouldn’t have to deal with it any more.
After years of observation (poking and prodding and testing) I was finally deemed in the clear this year.
So no more annoying asshole. Fuck cancer.
