Walkers are new for this season. They get a 500lb(!) weight limit.

It was neat, and the hammer smacks real hard, but put it up against any middling spinner and it's gonna get wrecked, to say nothing of a Tombstone, Uppercut, Bloodsport, etc...

I'd actually love to see it fight Hydra. I wonder if it could get that monstrosity airborne...

you could have walker before did not do much. but change rules so can have them so can have extra weight. before could not really compete. so they change it so walker can compete with other people

I have been watching it with my boys we take small wagers on who is going to win. So far I have had to clean the living room a few times. lol

It’s been an entertaining season. That one with the big arms doing back flips was super cool.

I love the design. The old design was a bit of a joke. Most matches it would simply tip over, and that was the end of the match. It was frustrating, since so much effort went into the "advanced AI control, etc, etc". And it was a failure.

This one certaintly has a very powerful hammer. and I'll give credit- The match was won using that hammer. Hammers almost always fail. They look great, but these bots are all designed to withstand shocks like that.

I think with the 500lb limit, they might have put in stronger pneumatics? and will certaintly be harder to flip and lift...... but lets all be honest. Behind that skirt is about a million tiny metal pieces. linkages, levers, gears, etc. One direct hit from a heavy spinner? it will be raining metal for sure.

Speaking of paintball, no Alexander Rose this year? I have not seen any of his bots

first battle of night is match of event so far. also for reason match of event had to go into area to inspect both bots by how much damage they put out on each other. both had glass chin

I think you're misusing that phrase - the amount of damage dealt was INSANE, and I can't believe they both made it to the end.

I was a big fan of them last year and I was wondering how far they could go. The answer might be "very far".
