Decided to try a local bar I always pass by, but never go to. Its just off the main drag in town and pretty easy to miss if you don't know its there. Anyways I went to go take a piss and noticed the toilet was leaking in the men's bathroom, the chain had come loose on the flush handle. Drunk me couldn't leave well enough alone and decided to fix it. Ended up fixing it and got a free beer afterwards. Haven't gotten a free beer in a long time. felt good man.

Happened to me at my favorite watering hole pre-Covid. I was sitting at a table having a pint and this gentleman comes over and asks me if I minded switching tables as a group was coming in and they needed more space. He was quite apologetic about it but I told him something like "hey they're here for a good time, I'll gladly oblige, the more the merrier". He thanked me and that was it. After I finished my pint the waitress brings me another one, but I hadn't ordered anything. She tells me 'it's from the owner, he appreciates your understanding'."Aren't you getting too old for this??"
