    Barrel ID

So I wanted a smaller barrel for my Automag, and found this on Ebay and figured why not. I have included it along with Blazer BZ2560 for scale, so it is a tiny little thing, made out of stainless steel and I included a few close ups, it is clearly called "Steelwind", there is an M that is stylized, which makes me think Macdev, but the only Macdev stuff I ever owned was cocker stuff or Cyborgs, I don't remember them making Automag stuff, but I might have missed it anyone have more knowledge?

From what I gather the M stands for Marker making it exceptionally hard to google.

There is one in an old BPS ad way down this page:

And here is a thread on PBN proving the above wasn’t just a typo....

Marker products "steel wind" came out before dye stainless and was short lived. Came in mag, cocker, and bushmaster/icon flavors

Wow so this a pretty esoteric piece of kit, I wouldn’t have guessed the company was called Marker lol, it seems well honed and milled at least, seems like it will work well enough in my classic mag, it is quite a bit shorter and lighter than my steel Lapco Bigshot

It was quite highly regarded in the 90:s

I've got a 10" stainless Steel Wind in 'Cocker thread, and for a couple of years there, back when you could still get real, live RP Scherer Premium Gold, it was easily my favorite barrel.

To the point where I never used a pull-through squeegee. I'd always wait 'til I got back to the safety zone, and use water and a clean paper towel to swab it out. Even today, the bore is mirror-polished with virtually no scratches.
