Extra long macroline elbow for threads that are really deep?

I've got a few long custom products regs that I really want to have 90 degree elbows for the macroline. But the threads are super deep into the reg, and my normal 90 degree elbows simply can't reach the threads.

I thought of getting a female to male extension, like this:

But there are a few problems with that. It's hard to find any pressure ratings for those things. And the fitting most likely doesn't have a way to tighten it with an allen key. So, even if I could install it into the reg, once it's loctited in there there won't be any way to remove it.

Does anyone have a solution? A really long 90 degree elbow, or a male female part that has a spot inside of it so it can be tightened with an allen wrench?

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

Would that work? First red loctite your macroline elbow into it, then once set, use it as an arm to install on the reg? Use telfon on the reg so that it would be easier to remove.

honestly for short fittings like that that are then surrounded by a bit of aluminum i would think you should be fine. When i used those cp regs in the past i would cut them on the lathe to avoid having to deal with that fitting situation.

Try steel hydraulic fittings. The ones I've bought from harbor freight have longer threads than brass fittings and will have a more than adequate pressure rating.
