It is a 3HT and the hydrotester said it was rated to 3k. It isn't that old. 2004. And it's a cool tank. Smallest 68ci I've seen.

If it's a 3HT steel bottle it's shelf life is 24 years, 3yr hydro. When was the tank made?

As for pressure, I'd play it safe & go 3K.

EDIT: Upon doing some quick math... It'd have to be made in '96 to be past shelf life, lol. Probably not that old... Unless it actually is? O.O

Good to know. Any chance you could direct me to a DOT list or something like that? I can't find any info on these little tanks.

Round bottom? It might be condemned. Before filling do some research because pretty sure all of the thin walk steel tanks have been auto failed

Not positive, but I thought all the steel tanks were 3k

    Old Crossfire Steel tank

I have one of those old round bottom 68ci Crossfire steel tanks that I'm going to start using again, but it needs a reg and is missing the label. I can't remember if they are 3k or 4.5k. Which is it? Thanks!
