look for the tables with no magfed markers , instead look for a bunch of ancient guns with stick feeds , and you should find us!

Hope everyone made it home safe. The snow was picking up again when I was getting back into Barrie.

Had a blast today. Some great battles, a lot of funny moments like bayonet guy getting 2 kills in front of me, and doing our best Hiroo Onoda impression.

That paint was fantastic, too. I hope to see that quality at some of the other games.

Good to see everyone again. I'm really looking forward to this season. Happy to report I no longer work every weekend so hopefully I can attend more.

Now I'm going to take some tylonel and retire to the couch, as unfortunately my body entered rigor mortis on the drive home.

Great day boys! That 10 round tube thing took some getting used to , and the cold temps and gloves added a level of difficulty , but I think i was getting a groove going a bit later in the day!

Some highlights:

- Me forgetting what rules are, spawn camping the red team , and taking pot shots at Oddbawl . Oddbawl responds by signaling to me I need to aim higher!
- Jordan hunting down and taking out The Winter Soldier
- Me pulling a nice flank on Toestr (i think it was him), but I completely miss him and run out of paint (where is my 200 round revvy!?) and then he takes me out! Toestr later sets a trap somehow for me a bit after that, and gets me again!

i'll check my action cam footage later, if I captured anything cool, i'll post it up!

Great day yesterday! But I am sore today.

Running a SC setup was way more fun than I thought it would be, and the paint was excellent - I had forgotten what it was like to hit what I was aiming at.

I'm hoping this is a good indicator of what this season will bring.

Yes, a good time was had by all despite all the adversity faced. No screaming matches on the field and the only overshooting I encountered is when my EMF100 malfunctioned, went full auto and I put like 5 rounds into a guy (oops). My feed elbow and lok bolt didn't make it out though (rip).

Meleager7 that was a good flank you pulled. You would have gotten me if it weren't for the bushes. Then while I was trying to figure out where Jordan and RAZRBAKK went you came back and I was so surprised you didn't see me. I'm pretty sure I was one of the few reds left on the field with the will to play at that point.

Definitely a fun time. I do wish they had played a few shorter walk on style games on individual fields just so people like me could get a feel for the fields. The multi objective mini big games just devolved into looking for players to shoot instead of playing the objective.

Also, the Art Life paint we used is made in Russia by a Dutch (possibly shell) company so there might be issues getting that on the horizon. My local store sells it and they haven't reported any issues getting it as of yet, but their last buy was before the diplomatic crisis really ramped up.

I was trying to get G&H to convert my BretG KP to a lever but they dont want to take project at this time. They are too busy working on new build

The build is sweet, but whats really impressive is that he gets a whole day of play without it leaking or going down.

It's KL-18 with a Brassballs pirate stock, and no I won't be selling it. It wasn't flawless that day, but that's my fault for using 12 grams in sub zero weather.

Edit: I was analyzing this vid again this morning, and I figured I might as well learn from having gotten blindsided so easily !

I was feeling pretty safe in that position since we had just cleared 3 Red players loitering outside the castle a few minutes before, and we also had a couple of our blue players inside the castle BUT you can see I still left the one corner unwatched ! It was clearly a false sense of security .

Even though we were not going to be there much longer, and planning where to head to next, I totally should been having that conversation while covering that corner at the same time !

Lesson learned!!
