Ok ,wouldn't mind a little down time and to meet some of the Canadian Contingents of MCB. There are a few that i've dealt with ,would be good to put a face to a name.Will keep a eye out for further updates.

So I've been watching some videos from Combat Pursuit and it seems like there is quite a bit of tall grass on the field. Is this avoidable during gameplay? I'd rather not be wading through it and come out with tick bites.

It's a mix, grass in areas, and bush. You can avoid it. No one wants a sack-bite.

Haha thanks. I have several family members with Lyme disease so I'm just cautious. The procedure for diagnosis and treatment in Ontario is so screwed up. Some had to be diagnosed and treated in the US because they couldn't get it here.

I just like to avoid dense underbrush if possible.

I hear you. My cousin has been suffering with chronic lyme for several years now, and it's amazing how doctors here don't want to touch it. They thought she had everything from fibromyalgia to a severe concussion. When someone finally suggested the possibility of Lyme, she was tested for the typical tick spread diseases. She tested positive for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever which is strong evidence that she had a tick bite, but they won't treat her for lyme disease.

Hit yourself with some good bug spray and you'll likely be alright. We're also going later in the year than usual, so I don't think it will be a huge deal.

Alright. Here's the deal. Haven't heard back. My kid refs for them now, and I'll be going on Sunday as well to help out. I'll corner him, and yes, if for whatever reason he's not pulling it together I'll tell him I'll ref it for free and everybody show for a walk on and we do our own thing.
That being said, I have two 50 cal ammo cans of 12 grams for those in need, and more PGPs and PMI-1s than a grown man should have.
I can set anyone up.
I'm a 12gram, old school evangelist, and will spread the gospel by any means necessary.

Yeah he's jammed up with lots of bookings.
He wants to run something official the Sunday after Thanksgiving *but* if yooze guys want to crash the walk on, we'll put something informal together. Or both.
Quite likely we can do our own thing if we have the numbers.

I recommend Sunday; it will be less busy, more likely we can jam a lot of rounds in and not have to leap frog around the various fields as other groups cycle through.
