Who’s going for this one? I most definitely be making this. Most unique field I have ever played and a lot of fun.

Very sad it’s going away. So must make it for the last one.

Pre registered for the Saturday game. Plan go Friday Night sleep in the truck and head for home after the game.

I May come out still but looks as though I won’t be playing sadly. Managed to at very least badly sprained ankle. Awaiting results of x rays on whether anything’s broken or fractured.

if any one else is going I have pre refer and had a case of paint I obviously wont need.

What happened?

Was up north camping/off roading. Got out in the back woods and just finished up setting up camp. Was loading some things in trailer and was going to gear up and get out on the bike for a short rip till friends arrived (run into town to get ice). When I got out of trailer to get my riding gear from my truck i stepped in a hole and rolled my right ankle. Swelling was instant and pretty severe (have pics but there’s toes in there and well people here don’t like that lol). Essentially looks as though I had a baseball protruding out of my ankle.

Dragged myself into trailer and laid with foot elevated for an hour or so. Swelling came down a bit, enuff so that I could strapped on my dirt bike boots to act as a splint. I was solo so had to unpack trailer and take it down load the bike back up and then drive the 5 hours home. 30mins of which was off road bouncing down a trail. Was not a pleasant day to say least. Docs very surprised nothing broken due to amount of swelling and bruising.

I won't end up making this... hope everyone who does has a blast!

Tinybear - sucks about the ankle.... did something similar to one of mine about 10 years ago (wiped out on ice and tore some ligaments in there, still hurts sometimes). Make sure you rest it up!

Hope to see everyone next season, maybe I'll get out more in 2024. 🙂

We will see. Hoping I can heal enuff to walk a bit play a couple games or so. Right now I can do short walks (end of drive way and back without a cane).

going push to gain as much mobility as I can. But either way I have the ok to drive so I be there playing or not.

As an Update. Seems I can walk unassisted at a normal slower pace mostly fine slight limp. So think I may give playing a go.

I pre registered so I be there for sure. Legs doing ok so should be able to play a bit. Weather is unfortunate but still worth going for one more game at what I feel was one of the most unique fields I have ever played at.
