There's an app you'll need to download called "Zonos" - it's to determine whether a tariff needs to be (pre)paid prior to shipping anything... and yes, shipping is still expensive. π -
Talk to Alex he ships a lot cross border he knows the tricks to keeping shipping down. I think shipping out of Canada is a lot cheaper then receiving.Comment

Depends on where the items are from. If made in the US no tariffs. As a Canadian we are paying the tariff whe sending down times as it needs to be pre-paid, which is done through that App. I have not shipped anything to the US since the changes.Comment

I too have held off shipping to the states. Would love to know how you make out. I would say I have always sold about 90 percent of my stuff to the US without issue and would love to do so but am concern this can be a complication that is not worth the effortComment

The last paintball-related orders I got were from EV for some Phantom parts and Nova for a gun. The EV order ended up costing me more in fees and shipping than the actual costs of the parts (EV had to use UPS and not USPS since CanPost was on strike). OTOH I expected to pay a pretty penny in fees for the gun I got from Nova but they were actually very low. I did have to pay the 15% sales tax, which is to be expected.
What I've found though is an increasingly sheer reticence of many U.S. sellers to ship here. I think it's mostly due to the fear of potential complaints about exorbitant costs from the buyers, but I also detect at times an underlying 'coldness' due to the current state of American-Canadian relations. If the latter is true, I think it's all moot since I've held the belief for a long time (way before the current state of affairs) that some sort of North American Union is inevitable. I am *not* veering into politics (I'm not saying it would be good or bad, or who's right and who's wrong); just making a neutral observation here."Aren't you getting too old for this??"

I just shipped to a member here (Canada to US) I will post up some details once he has received the package
I shipped Canada post with tracking. I had all sorts of varied information from Canada post staff and had to jump through some hoops and install the Zonos app to get the product shipped
I usually sell about 90 percent of what I let go to the US . I would love to continue to do so as long as I can clearly give the buyer on the other end a realistic price expectation of what they will need to pay to get things across the border and into their hands

Shipped couple of package in the last few month. All product originally made in the USA. No tariff shipping and buyer did not seem to had any fees or taxes. Those where all used parts with value under $300 CAD. I Have not tried to ship a full marker yet.πTeam RagnastockπComment
